Henderson Mill Elementary is the first PreK-5 elementary school in Georgia to be awarded state STEM certification. We have four STEM programs that are supported and enhanced in many ways each day. Our students are actively engaged and learn by doing as they participate in STEM related project based learning. We serve an economically and ethnically diverse student population of 575 students. We like to say that "we are the world" as it will look in the near future and now that we are STEM certified, we are the world employed in the jobs of the future!
