Started in 2009, this Rochester High School began to accept 9th grade students in the 2010-2011 school year. Since this time, the roster of the High School has grown to encompass over 400 students. In 2012, they managed to add another 200 9th graders to the student body for a grand total of 600 high school students. At Rochester, the curriculum is focused on STEM education. Students work toward AP credits and begin internships within their senior year of high school.
Accredited by the National Academy Foundation, this STEM high School is designed to meet two sets of academic standards. While attending programs at this high school, students will meet the requirements of the Academy of Information Technology and the Academy of Engineering. In recent times, the National Academy Foundation has also accredited the high school.
For students who are intent on success, the High School more than delivers. It offers a curriculum that focuses on STEM education and pushes students toward their full potential. With its focus on science and technology, students at the Rochester High School can be certain of a bright future.
